BlockBeats 消息，3 月 2 日，特朗普媒體與科技集團表示，正在考慮將其旗艦社交媒體平台 Truth Social 分拆成一家上市公司，此舉可能使其優先考慮其加密貨幣方面的雄心壯志。該公司周五表示，它正在與能源聚變初創公司 TAE Technologies 和 Texas Ventures Acquisition III 討論潛在的交易，後者將控制 Truth 社交媒體平台。
此次討論建立在特朗普媒體與 TAE 科技公司去年 12 月達成的合併協議之上，該交易價值超過 60 億美元。合併完成後，Truth Social 可能會被分拆成一家名為 SpinCo 的新上市公司，然後 SpinCo 再與 Texas Ventures III 合併。SpinCo 的股份也將分配給特朗普媒體的股東。
