US Dollar Index Falls 0.45% on Wednesday After CPI and PPI Data

The ICE Dollar Index fell 0.45% to 100.465 on Wednesday (July 15), extending losses from July 14 following the release of U.S. CPI inflation data, according to Bloomberg. The index extended declines after the U.S. PPI data release at 20:30 Beijing time. The Bloomberg Dollar Index declined 0.31% to 1214.20. Euro-yen rose 0.38% to 185.98 yen, while sterling-yen gained 1.16% to 219.522 yen.
