U.S. Consumers' One-Year Inflation Expectations Hit 3.7% in June, Highest Since September 2023

According to the New York Federal Reserve's June Survey of Consumer Expectations released on July 8, U.S. consumers' median one-year inflation expectations reached 3.7%, up 0.2 percentage points from May and marking the highest level since September 2023. Three-year inflation expectations also rose 0.2 percentage points to 3.3%, the highest since June 2022.
