Nvidia, Microsoft, IBM Launch Open Secure AI Alliance with 40+ Founding Members

According to Nvidia's blog post on Monday, the company, alongside Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Cloudflare, Hugging Face, Salesforce, Palantir and more than 30 other organizations, launched the Open Secure AI Alliance to develop open-source tools and standards for AI safety and cybersecurity. The alliance, building on work by the Linux Foundation's Akrites initiative and the Open Source Security Foundation, aims to help organizations identify vulnerabilities and respond to cyber threats. Nvidia will contribute open models, datasets, research, and released the Nvidia Labs Object-Oriented Agent (NOOA) framework as open source on GitHub. CEO Jensen Huang stated on X: "Attackers have frontier AI. Defenders need a frontier AI ecosystem—the best open and closed models, force-multiplied by a global community."
