Morgan Stanley updated its proposed spot Ethereum and Solana ETF filings on July 14, designating Coinbase as custodian and staking service provider, with BNY Mellon serving as co-trustee for both trusts. The Ethereum trust plans to stake 50-80% of holdings under normal conditions, while the Solana trust may stake up to 100% of SOL, preserving liquidity for redemptions and fees. Staking and custodial service providers will share 5% of rewards, with the remaining 95% retained by each trust.
Both funds carry an annual sponsor fee of 0.14%. The Ethereum product is expected to trade under ticker MSSE, while the Solana fund will list on NYSE Arca as MSOL. Both filings remain pending SEC approval.
