Japan Cuts U.S. Treasury Holdings to $1.143 Trillion in May, Down $67 Billion

According to U.S. Treasury data, Japan reduced its U.S. Treasury holdings to $1.143 trillion in May from $1.210 trillion in April. In the same period, the United Kingdom increased its holdings to $949 billion from $938 billion, while China raised its position to $659 billion from $651 billion.
