Low-market-cap stocks in the US stock market should not be bought recklessly; the car heads have learned their lesson.
In the United States, to protect companies from malicious takeovers, the board of directors is granted significant authority. If one approaches with the idea of controlling the shareholding and attempts to manipulate market prices to harvest profits, they will ultimately be diluted by unlimited stock issuance.
This is also why companies are eager to list on U.S. stock exchanges, because it’s equivalent to having a legitimate printing press.
