Gate News reports that on March 6, an insider revealed that the Trump administration is currently not considering involving the U.S. Department of the Treasury in oil futures (energy commodities like crude oil derivatives) trading. It is understood that government officials previously discussed having the Treasury participate in energy futures trading, but ultimately concluded that the Treasury’s ability to exert a substantial impact on the market is limited.
