Gate News message, April 17 — SenseTime announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it has entered into a placement agreement to issue 1.7 billion Class B shares at HKD 1.91 per share, representing an 8.61% discount to the closing price of HKD 2.09 on April 16 (the pricing date).
The placement is expected to generate gross proceeds of approximately HKD 3,247 million (USD ~415 million), with net proceeds of approximately HKD 3,230 million after deducting placement fees and related costs. Based on this, the net issue price per share is expected to be approximately HKD 1.90. The placement agent will endeavor to secure commitments from at least six placees.
