Ireland launches digital wallet testing, adding an age verification feature to protect teens’ online cybersecurity

According to a statement from Ireland’s Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, this digital ID will support social media platforms in verifying users’ ages, with the aim of protecting children and teenagers from online harms.
