Iranian experts' meeting confirms Muqtada al-Husayni al-Sadr as the new Supreme Leader

Gate News Report, March 9 — Early this morning, Iranian experts’ meeting confirmed Muqtada al-Husayni al-Husayni as Iran’s new Supreme Leader. According to the Iranian Constitution, the Supreme Leader has almost the final say on major matters and serves as the commander-in-chief of Iran’s armed forces. Public records show that Muqtada al-Husayni al-Husayni was born in 1969 and is the second son of the late Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
