Zcash Ironwood Upgrade to Activate on July 28 at Block Height 3,428,143

ZEC7.13%
According to ChainCatcher, Zcash's Ironwood (NU6.3) upgrade will activate on July 28 at 8 p.m. Beijing time at block height 3,428,143, as confirmed by core developer Sean Bowe. The upgrade addresses a vulnerability in the Orchard pool that could have allowed unlimited ZEC forgery. The activation introduces a new privacy pool to replace the legacy pool and adds a control flag in zero-knowledge proof circuits to optionally disable transfers while preserving change functionality.
