Virtu Joins BitGo Prime's Liquidity Network as Institutional Market Maker

Virtu Financial announced on Wednesday that it has joined BitGo Prime's global liquidity network, providing market-making and execution services to institutional digital asset clients. Under the partnership, institutional traders can access Virtu's pricing and execution while maintaining assets in regulated custody at BitGo Bank & Trust in the United States or BitGo Europe. BitGo Prime continues to expand its liquidity provider network throughout 2026, having partnered with German liquidity provider tradias in April. The modular model separates custody, execution, and liquidity functions, allowing institutional investors to reduce counterparty exposure and improve operational control compared to traditional exchange-based trading.
