U.S. Marine Corps Conducts Boarding Inspection on Tanker in Gulf of Oman on July 16

According to the U.S. Central Command, on July 16, the U.S. Marine Corps' 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted a boarding inspection on a tanker in the Gulf of Oman. As of now, U.S. forces have forced three commercial vessels attempting to breach the blockade to change course, disabled one non-compliant vessel, and inspected one ship to ensure full compliance with the ongoing U.S. maritime embargo on Iran.
