U.S. Central Command: 2 U.S. Soldiers Killed, 1 Missing in Jordan on July 17 During Iranian Attack Defense

According to U.S. Central Command, on July 17, two U.S. soldiers were killed and one was missing in Jordan while defending against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Four additional U.S. personnel were wounded and transported to hospitals in Jordan; all have since been discharged. Other service members with minor injuries have returned to duty. The command stated it will not release the names of the deceased until 24 hours after families have been officially notified.
