Two U.S. Service Members Killed in Iranian Missile Strike on Jordan Base Saturday

According to Axios, Iran launched a ballistic missile strike on Saturday (July 12) on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, killing two American service members and wounding others. This marks the first U.S. combat casualty from renewed conflict in recent weeks, bringing total American deaths in the current conflict to 16 personnel. Iranian forces fired at least two ballistic missiles, striking the base which hosts U.S. troops and fighter aircraft.
