According to The Defiant, Uniswap Labs proposed on July 7 to enable protocol fees on Uniswap v4 pools, extending the UNIfication fee framework previously approved by the DAO to the new architecture. Snapshot voting runs through July 12, with on-chain voting expected to begin the week of July 13. The proposal targets three pool types with the following fee structures: static fee pools without hooks, CCA auction pools, and aggregator hook pools, the latter capped at 250 basis points (10 basis points on standard chains, 3 basis points on Base).
