UK 10-Year Government Bond Yield Falls 4.8bp to 4.949% on July 28

On July 28, UK government bond yields declined throughout the European trading session. The 10-year gilt yield fell 4.8 basis points to close at 4.949%, trading within a range of 4.976%-4.945%. A sharp intraday dip occurred after 23:00 Beijing time, approaching the day's low. The 2-year gilt yield dropped 5.3 basis points to 4.328%, while the 2/10-year yield spread widened 0.384 basis points to +61.725 basis points.
