Spot Gold Rises 0.2%, Platinum Surges 2.9%; Copper Breaks $6.40 on Wednesday

On Wednesday (July 15), spot gold rose 0.21% to $4,061.29 per ounce, while platinum surged 2.88% in afternoon trading. COMEX copper futures climbed to an intraday high of $6.4175 per pound, breaking through the $6.40 mark. Spot silver fell 1.56% to $57.7870 per ounce, and palladium gained 1.05%.
