According to DigiTalDaily, South Korea's KOSDAQ index surged 25.76 points (3.08%) to 863.19 on the morning of July 13, recovered above the 860 level as buying pressure concentrated on large-cap biotech, secondary battery, and semiconductor supply-chain component stocks.
The KOSPI index, which fell 0.85% in early trading, recovered to gain 8.85 points (0.12%) to 7484.79 by mid-morning. Domestic institutions and retail investors bought a net 290 billion won and 481 billion won of KOSDAQ respectively, while foreign investors sold a net 716 billion won.
