South Korea and Brazil Sign 7 Cooperation Agreements on Space, Energy, and Advanced Industries on July 27

According to Yonhapinfomax, South Korea and Brazil signed a total of seven cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding on July 27 during a summit between South Korean President Lee Jae-myung and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in Brasília. The agreements cover space exploration, energy transition, advanced industrial technologies, cybersecurity, education, sports, and film cooperation. Key accords include simplified launch regulations for Korean private space companies using Brazilian facilities, energy sector collaboration on renewable energy and smart grids, and joint R&D initiatives in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, batteries, and sustainable materials. The cybersecurity cooperation framework will enable Korean security firms to expand into the Brazilian and Latin American markets.
