According to Hunterbrook Media, Qualcomm (QCOM) stock declined 3% on Tuesday, logging its third consecutive session of losses, after the short seller discovered hidden HTML on the company's website describing an apparent partnership with AI startup Anthropic.

Hunterbrook said sources close to both companies confirmed there was no deal, and the code appeared to be a website error. Qualcomm removed the material after being contacted for comment. Hunterbrook and research firm Citrini had initially planned to publish a report on the discovery but ultimately pulled the story after verifying the partnership was not genuine.
