According to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the company is considering renting out AI computing capacity to external customers, as external offers have been high enough that Meta believes rental may provide more value than internal use.

Zuckerberg emphasized that Meta has not experienced AI capacity surplus and continues to fully utilize existing compute resources. The company is exploring two cloud service models: managed hosting of proprietary or third-party AI models with usage-based fees, and direct compute sales similar to AI cloud provider CoreWeave's approach.
