Google Gemini Team Member Posts Hint Gemini 3.5 Pro May Launch in August, Delayed Since June

According to a post by Google Gemini team member Logan Kilpatrick today (July 14), he wrote that "every 3 months in the AI era, ambitions must be elevated, otherwise newly emerged model capabilities will be claimed by competitors first." Community members linked this to the delayed Gemini 3.5 Pro release. Originally scheduled for June, the model has been pushed back, with earlier reports suggesting a July 17 launch date. Based on the historical 3-month intervals between Gemini 3 Pro, Gemini 3.1 Pro, and Gemini 3.5 Flash releases, analysts predict the next model launch may occur in mid to late August.
