According to Rappler, Cebu Pacific announced on July 14 that it would become Southeast Asia's first low-cost airline to introduce Starlink in-flight internet service, with rollout targeted for 2027. The satellite-based connectivity will support high-definition video streaming, online gaming, messaging, and work applications for passengers, as well as improve communications for flight crews and operations teams. The airline did not disclose which aircraft or routes would receive the service first, deployment timeline details, or whether passengers would incur additional fees; these details are expected to be announced closer to the 2027 rollout date.
