Gate Global exclusive launches stock and CFD account asset interest-earning functionality; USDT and USDx automatically earn interest of up to 3% annualized.

Gate News: According to a platform announcement, Gate has launched a feature that enables interest accrual on stock and CFD account assets. USDT in the Stock Account and USDX in the CFD Account can both automatically earn interest. After users enable it with one click, there is no need to stake or lock funds. Eligible assets in the account will automatically participate in daily interest accrual, with rewards paid out daily to the spot account.

The base annual interest rate is capped at 3% and is applied based on account balance tiers. Interest for USDT in the Stock Account and USDX in the CFD Account is calculated independently. When the balance exceeds 100万, the annual interest rate is 3%; for 10万 to 100万, it is 1.8%; for 1000 to 10000, it is 1.2%; balances below 1000 do not earn interest. For example: if the Stock Account holds 200,000 USDT and the CFD Account holds 50,000 USDX, they are calculated independently at 2.4% and 1.8%, respectively, with daily returns of approximately 13.15 USDT and 2.47 USDX.

The system will start taking snapshots at 00:00 (UTC) on the day after activation. The first reward will be distributed to the account two days after activation, and thereafter rewards will be paid out daily. The platform says it will dynamically adjust the base interest rate and the coefficients for each tier based on market factors.
