Emergent Closes $130M Series C at $1.5B Valuation, Backed by Khosla and SoftBank Vision Fund 2

According to TechCrunch, Indian AI coding startup Emergent completed a Series C funding round of $130 million, raising its post-investment valuation to $1.5 billion—a five-fold increase from the $300 million valuation in January 2026. The round was led by Creaegis, with participation from MNI Ventures-Claypond, Sentinel Global, Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed, and Y Combinator. Emergent provides "engineering team as a service" AI coding solutions for small and medium enterprises, reporting $120 million in annualized revenue with 70 percent growth over the past four months and over 200,000 paying users across logistics, manufacturing, construction, and property management sectors.
