CodexField Hit With $85M Fraud Claims After $17.3M USDT Traced on July 9

According to blockchain analyst Specter, CodexField, a decentralized code management platform on BNB Greenfield, faced $85 million fraud allegations on July 9 after $17.3 million in USDT was traced moving from TRON to Ethereum and swapped for DAI on Polygon via Bitget Swap. Specter identified a deposit contract and noted that $6.5 million had been successfully transferred while $10.8 million remained in transit. CodexField won first place in the Infrastructure category of BNB Chain's Hackvolution hackathon in September 2023. As of July 10, neither CodexField nor BNB Chain has confirmed or denied the findings.
