Gucci Beauty License Transfers to L'Oreal One Year Early, Says Equita Analyst

According to Equita Sim analyst Paola Carboni on July 8, Gucci should benefit from L'Oreal taking over its beauty product license one year ahead of schedule. Kering announced that following an agreement with current license holder Coty, it will transfer the rights to sell Gucci-branded beauty products to L'Oreal earlier than originally planned. Carboni said the accelerated transition should allow Gucci to benefit from L'Oreal's expertise and scale, citing the French beauty company's marketing capabilities and global distribution network.
