Chinese Commodity Futures Mixed Overnight; Synthetic Rubber Up 1.29%, PTA Down 2.55%

Chinese commodity futures delivered mixed results in night trading on July 15. Synthetic rubber led gains with a 1.29% rise, while polyester, soybean meal, and propylene all advanced at least 0.63%. In contrast, PTA fell 2.55%, marking the steepest loss among tracked commodities. Bottle-grade PTA, short-fiber polyester, and paraxylene each declined as much as 1.90%.

Other notable gainers included rapeseed meal, styrene, and cotton, each rising at least 0.33%. Losses were broadly distributed across crude oil, caustic soda, and sugar futures, which fell as much as 0.93%. Iron ore futures closed flat.
