China's MIIT Accelerates AI+Software Action Plan Development

According to the State Council Information Office press conference today (July 20), China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced plans to accelerate the rollout of an artificial intelligence plus software action plan. MIIT spokesperson Tao Qing stated that software serves as the foundation of digital economy development and a critical support for building manufacturing and digital China. The ministry will enhance the supply capacity of key software products and services, promote intelligent transformation of software development, and advance the emergence of new AI-driven software industries.
