China's First-Tier City Home Prices Fall 1.3% YoY in June, Decline Narrows 0.4pp

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, in June, first-tier cities' new residential property sales prices declined 1.3% year-on-year, with the decline narrowing by 0.4 percentage points from May. Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen saw declines of 2.1%, 2.6%, and 3.6% respectively, while Shanghai rose 3.1%. Second-tier cities' new residential prices fell 3.1% year-on-year, narrowing by 0.1 percentage point, while third-tier cities declined 4.2% with the pace unchanged from the previous month.
