China Fuel Prices Surge on July 17; Gasoline Up 300 Yuan/Ton, Crude at $77.87

According to Jin Lian Chuang, Chinese retail fuel prices rose on July 17, the tenth working day of the current pricing cycle. Gasoline increased 300 yuan per ton, while diesel rose 290 yuan per ton, equivalent to 0.22–0.25 yuan per liter depending on grade. The benchmark crude oil averaged $77.87 per barrel with a positive rate of change of 6.01%. The next pricing adjustment window is scheduled for July 31, 2026.
