According to Bloomberg Intelligence, as major tech companies including Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta ramp up billions in spending on custom AI chips to reduce dependence on Nvidia, Broadcom has unexpectedly emerged as the biggest beneficiary. The chipmaker almost captures every order regardless of which tech giant's chips win out: Broadcom worked with Google on its Ironwood tensor processor and collaborated with OpenAI on custom silicon designs. Broadcom's AI-related revenue reached $5.2 billion in fiscal year 2025 Q3, underscoring its dominant position in the supply chain despite the industry's push to move away from Nvidia.
