According to CNA, Binance co-CEO Richard Teng announced on July 10 that the exchange aims to reach 3 billion users globally by 2030. The company is accelerating compliance licensing applications across Asia, including in Japan and India, and entering the Philippines market through a partnership with BlockShoals Technologies.
Teng stated that Binance invests over $300 million annually in compliance, with approximately one-quarter of its workforce dedicated to regulatory matters. The platform currently serves roughly half of the world's estimated 740 million cryptocurrency users and strengthens asset protection through proof-of-reserves and the SAFU fund.
