If you don't reduce your position at all, the liquidation price would be at 3000. Unlike me, you can't add positions at a 5% probability at the 2600 level. Setting a break-even stop loss would be fine, but there's that small possibility of your stop loss getting hit right before a decline.
If you do position reduction and trade the swings, there's actually an advantage—your liquidation price becomes higher. For example, if the market wants to create a fake breakout to sweep stop losses afterward, you can avoid setting a break-even stop loss and effectively avoid getting stopped out. For instance, I often don't set break-even stop losses on my positions, but I use this indicator instead.
In essence, each trading method has its advantages. Trading strategies, methods, and psychology all require flexible application.
