Iran's Foreign Minister: Never Proposed Ceasefire or Negotiations, Willing to Discuss Hormuz Strait Security with Specific Countries
Gate News reported on March 15 that on March 15 local time, Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi stated that Iran has never submitted a ceasefire request, nor has it even submitted a negotiation request. Araghchi also stated that Iran is prepared to engage in dialogue with countries willing to discuss safe passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. Currently, several countries have contacted Iran requesting guarantees for safe vessel transit, with the final decision remaining in the hands of Iran's military forces.
