Gate News message, April 15 — X (formerly Twitter) has launched its Cashtags feature on iPhone in the United States and Canada, according to Nikita Bier, the platform’s head of product. The feature is designed to provide real-time asset data for financial and crypto communities.
When users search for or post a Cashtag (a stock ticker or smart contract address), the platform automatically suggests matching stocks or cryptocurrencies for precise asset selection. Clicking on a Cashtag allows users to view posts related to the asset and its price chart directly within X, without needing to navigate to external platforms.
The company stated that Cashtags represents the first step in its effort to build the best platform for financial and crypto communities.
