Two Iran-Linked Vessels Pass Through Strait of Hormuz Into Persian Gulf

Gate News message, April 16 — Two vessels with ties to Iran transited the Strait of Hormuz and entered the Persian Gulf on April 15 in the late afternoon, according to U.S. sources and vessel tracking data. An LPG carrier passed through the waterway between Iran’s Larak and Qeshm islands, followed by an ultra-large crude carrier.

Both vessels successfully navigated the strategic chokepoint, one of the world’s most critical maritime passages for global energy supplies.
