ORDI is an inscription asset based on the Ordinals protocol. The total supply of Bitcoin is 21 million coins; each coin can be subdivided into 100 million satoshis (the smallest unit of Bitcoin), totaling 21 quadrillion satoshis. Inscriptions create satoshis by writing content into them using the Ordinals protocol, without the need for separate tokens, sidechains, or changing Bitcoin. The protocol writes information into each satoshi, including text, images, audio, and video. Due to Bitcoin block size limits, it mainly exists in the form of text and images, presented as NFT and token formats.
