Gate News message, April 16 — The Israeli Defense Forces have prepared to reach a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, according to an IDF official. Senior IDF commanders have been instructed to ready troops currently deployed in southern Lebanon for the ceasefire.

The ceasefire is set to begin between 7 p.m. and midnight local time on April 16.
