Iran's Uranium Enrichment Degree and Type Open to Dialogue, Foreign Ministry Says

GateNews

Gate News message, April 15 — Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baghaei said on April 15 that Iran’s legitimate rights under international law are non-negotiable. Iran’s right to peaceful use of nuclear energy is inherent and cannot be stripped away under pressure or war conditions. This right stems from Iran’s status as a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and as long as Iran remains a member, it should benefit from the treaty’s provisions.

Baghaei stated that regarding the degree and type of uranium enrichment activities, there is room for dialogue. However, Iran emphasized that it must retain the ability to continue uranium enrichment according to its own needs.
