Hu Xiaowei, an associated figure of the Prince Group in Cambodia, has been sanctioned by the UK.

BlockBeats message, March 27, according to a Caixin report, after Chen Zhi, founder of the Cambodian Prince Group, had been detained for more than two months, the UK further imposed sanctions on a Southeast Asian scam network, including Hu Xiaowei, closely linked to Chen Zhi. The UK government described Hu Xiaowei as “Chen Zhi’s long-term collaborator” in connection with the Prince Group. The two’s association traces back to a “Legend” private server; later, they jointly established companies both within and outside the country. On March 26, the UK government website published this sanctions information. The sanctioned parties include multiple individuals and entities related to the Prince Group.

At 38 years old, Chen Zhi is the founder of the Prince Group. He comes from a fishing village in Fujian. Previously, he ran an internet café and worked as a network administrator. He rose to prominence by “robbing” the “Legend” private server through hacking. More than a decade ago, he went to Southeast Asia and then switched to Cambodian nationality
