AI Safety Startup Xbow Completes $120 Million Financing Round, Valuation Breaks $1 Billion

Gate News Report, March 18 — AI security startup Xbow announced the completion of a new funding round, raising $120 million with a valuation exceeding $1 billion. The round was led by DFG Growth and Northzone, with participation from Alkeon Capital, Sofina, and existing investors Sequoia Capital, Altimeter Capital, and NFDG. Xbow focuses on developing AI software to detect application security vulnerabilities. Currently, the company has about 150 employees and expects to grow to several hundred by the end of the year. The company has over 100 clients, including Moderna and Samsung Electronics. Xbow CEO De Moore stated that there is strong demand in the Korean market.
