On August 14th, Jin10 Data reported that the Anhui Provincial Medicine Centralized Procurement Platform announced the procurement catalog of COVID-19 vaccines and some non-immunization planning vaccines in Anhui Province for 2024. Among them, the Watson Biologicals’ Omicron XBB.1.5 mRNA vaccine for the novel coronavirus variant is included in the procurement catalog at a price of 94 yuan per dose. Just a day earlier, on August 12th, in the notice of online quotation for newly added products in the second batch of centralized procurement of non-immunization planning vaccines in Shandong Province in 2024 released by the Shandong Province Public Resource Trading Platform, the proposed online quotation of the Watson Biologicals’ Omicron XBB.1.5 mRNA vaccine for the novel coronavirus variant was 278 yuan per dose. The decline between the two is 71.94%.
