Mastercard vừa đưa Polygon (POL) vào Mastercard Crypto Partner Program, đánh dấu bước tiến quan trọng trong việc kết nối hạ tầng blockchain với hệ thống thanh toán toàn cầu. Chương trình này quy tụ khoảng 85 công ty và nền tảng crypto. Với hơn sáu năm kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực thanh toán, Polygon hiện xử lý hơn 1 nghìn tỷ USD giao dịch stablecoin mỗi năm, chủ yếu là USD Coin (USDC) và Tether (USDT).
Việc tích hợp giúp thu hẹp khoảng cách giữa thanh toán hằng ngày và việc quyết toán giao dịch on-chain. Trong khi thị trường vẫn chờ diễn biến từ Clarity Act, Polygon đang thu hút sự chú ý nhờ tiềm năng ứng dụng ở quy mô doanh nghiệp, dù thường bị lu mờ bởi các đối thủ như Ripple (XRP) và Stellar (XLM).
Hoạt động on-chain của Polygon đang tăng trở lại, phí mạng đã quay về mức năm 2024. Dù vậy, giá POL vẫn dưới 0,10 USD dù vốn hóa stablecoin trên mạng lưới đã vượt 3,36 tỷ USD.
