Jin10 reported on September 29 that on September 29 local time, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying that earlier that day, an explosion occurred near a military outpost in southern Syria, resulting in serious injuries to an Israeli Defense Forces reservist officer. The Israel Defense Forces stated that the cause of the explosion is under investigation. According to preliminary investigations, this officer was likely injured by the blast of an old landmine.
