White House: U.S. delegation to Pakistan on Saturday; Vance will be on standby domestically

At 4:24 local time on April 24, the White House said that Iran has proactively reached out and requested a face-to-face meeting; relevant U.S. personnel will be on standby and, if necessary, will be ready to fly to Pakistan to participate in the negotiations. Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President Vance will remain in the country on standby, and Presidential Envoy Wittekoff and Trump’s son-in-law Kushner are expected to travel to Pakistan before Saturday to advance the negotiation process with Iran.
