CryptoWorld News reports that, according to CoinDesk, Bitcoin analyst James Check stated that if Bitcoin's price drops to $40k, it would be a historic anomaly, although such a situation is not impossible, it is extremely rare statistically. The current Bitcoin price is approximately $77,685.69, having recently increased by nearly 15%. Check pointed out that the current price is still 40% below the all-time high. He mentioned that Bitcoin's mean reversion index shows that if the price drops to $40k, it would fall into the 0.4 percentile of historical daily closes, meaning this price level has almost never occurred in history. In comparison, the current price is around the 31.5 percentile, which is weaker historically but still within normal correction ranges.
