Just kept an eye on the mempool, and during congestion it really feels like rush hour: the transaction you sent first sits in the "waiting area," miners/validators pick and pack them, whoever tips more gets on the bus first. You think clicking send is the end of it, but actually it might be bumped out later by a new transaction with the same nonce (like speeding up with a higher fee), or even more absurdly, you might encounter a reorganization, where it shows as successful one second and then goes back to queuing the next... Every time I see this, I can't help but question life: is the network slow, or is someone cutting in line behind the scenes? Recently, we've been discussing tax increases, tightening/loosening compliance, and it feels like everyone's deposit and withdrawal expectations have shifted, and the congestion on-chain is contagious. Anyway, I only act on urgent orders now; if it's not urgent, I wait, so I don't drive myself crazy.
